New circuit house to come up at Baghmara

GUWAHATI: The administrative approval has been accorded for the construction of a new circuit house building at an estimated cost of Rs 4, 71, 39,000 at Baghmara in South Garo Hills, Meghalaya, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said.

Sangma on Tuesday held a meeting with the officials of General Administration Department to finalize the Tendering process.

Meanwhile, Conrad Sangma also said that the first Bee development centre of Northeast will come up at Meghalaya and the government has targeted to complete the centre by 2022.

‘DPR for #NorthEast 1st Bee Development Centre is in the process & finalisation from the National Bee Board is awaited. We target to complete it by 2022. #Apiculture has a huge scope in #Meghalaya & the Centre will enhance livelihood of our people in #GaroHills,’ tweeted Sangma.
