SHILLONG: The government has appointed NPP leader Donkupar War as the political adviser to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
Earlier, the government had appointed UDP leader, Allantry Franklin Dkhar as political adviser and former bureaucrat Arlene Sangma as political secretary to the chief minister. NPP legislator Thomas Sangma is another adviser to chief minister.
The notification related to new political adviser was issued by the commissioner and secretary, chief minister’s secretariat on Tuesday. The perks and facilities of the political adviser are under category ‘A’.
