6 more die of COVID19 in Assam, toll mounts to 227

GUWAHATI: Six more persons on Friday died of COVID19 in Assam taking the death toll  up to 227 till date.

The deceased were identified as Madhai Saha (53) of Dhubri; Kameswar Lahkar (55) of Barpeta; Kamal Krishan Mahanta (47) of Kamrup Rurak ; Haripad Deb Nath (55) of Hailakandi;  Bidhu Bhushan Das (57) of Cachar and Sahida Khatun (43) of Dibrugarh.
