TURA: After two persons tested positive for Covid-19 at Haluapara locality of Resubelpara on Thursday night, North Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, S C Sadhu has declared the entire area under the locality a containment zone for 5 days.
The order in this regard was issued by the Deputy Commissioner under Section 144 and entry and exit to and from the area, opening of shops and all kinds of activities in the form of social, political, religious and economic has been strictly prohibited.
The DC also informed that for the time being the supply of essential commodities would be ensured by the various teams formed by the district administration.
