Lad Smit Market back to business

SHILLONG: In view of effective contact tracing and reports of the high-risk contacts, the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, on Friday, gave the green light for resumption of operations at Lad Smit Market.
The deputy commissioner stated that the timing of operation of the market will be from 8 am to 6 pm daily, except Sunday.
The DC had earlier closed the market following reports suggesting that a person, who tested positive for COVID-19, was found mingling with the shopkeepers and public at the Market.
