Pokhriyal assures to restore recognition to Rongkhon B. Ed college: Conrad

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma today called up the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to apprise him about the recent de-recognition of the B.Ed College at Rongkhon, Tura by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE).

The Chief Minister in his post claimed that the Union Minister assured to look into the matter for restoration of recognition to the institution.

The Chief Minister further congratulated the Union Education Minister for the National Education Policy. In his twitter handle, the CM said that Meghalaya would be the first state to implement the NEP and a task force would be constituted for the purpose.

“Congratulated our Hon’ble Union Minister for Education Sh.  @DrRPNishank Ji for the National Education Policy. #Meghalaya will be the 1st State to implement the #education policy. A Task Force will be constituted to take it forward in our State.@EduMinOfIndia,” tweeted the CM.
