SHILLONG: Meghalaya on Saturday honoured the immense contribution of sports persons from the state on the occasion of National Sports Day 2020.
A programme was organised at the Yojna Bhawan in the State Secretariat where ace sports persons from various disciplines were honoured by the State Sports Minister, Banteidor Lyngdoh.
A cash reward of Rs 10,000 each was also given to them for the categories of football, martial arts and athletics.
