SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has declared the first floor of the building of Shanta Uriah at Streamlet Road, Laban, the house and compound of B Nongrum at Lumdiengsoh (Motinagar), the house of Ashish Dhar at Upper Jail Road (next to Gini’s Complex) and the compound of Swapan Deb and Ruma Deb at Upper Jail Road (near Puja Mandap) as containment areas.
In another order, the EKH District Magistrate has lifted the containment zone tag from B Dohling Compound at Mawkhar Main Road, house of B Dkhar at Amjad Ali Road, Laban, house of Sushma Talukdar, Burnside Area, and the Mantra Building opposite the Puja Mandap at Rilbong.
