Meghalaya COVID update: 1 more death, 108 new cases, 1252 active cases

SHILLONG: With detection of 108 new COVID19 cases, death of one more person and recovery of 75 more persons from the virus infection, the total number of active COVID19 cases in Meghalaya has now come up to 1252, according to state health department communique.

So far, 1468 persons have recovered from the disease in the state which has reported 14 deaths due to COVID19 till now.

Out of the active cases, 842 are in East Khasi Hills district, 91 in Ri Bhoi district, 140 in West Garo Hills district, 31 in West Khasi Hills district, 83 in East Garo Hills district, 25 in East Jaintia Hills district, 22 in South Garo Hills district.
