Manchester United announced the signing of Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax. The 23-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford, with an option to extend by a further year. The transfer fee is reported to be around 39 million Euros, which is subject to increase to 44 million Euros on meeting certain clauses. (IANS)

Chelsea has agreed a deal to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen. The deal is thought to be worth 80 million Euros plus 20 million Euros add ons. The player is yet to have a medical as he is included in the Germany squad for their UEFA Nations League match against Spain. (Agencies)

Everton have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for Columbian star James. The deal is subject to medicals after which the player will be revealed officially as an Evertonian. The club is also close to signing Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford for reportedly 25 million Euros, while Napoli player Allan has, according to sources, completed his medical with Everton. (Agencies)

Inter Milan are closing in on securing the services of Arturo Vidal from Barcelona. Vidal’s agent is working out a way to secure the signing for free as Inter do not want to pay any fee to sign Vidal after Barcelona made it clear that the Chilean was not a part of new manager Koeman’s plans. Kolarov has agreed to personal terms and a total deal to join Inter from AS Roma on a permanent deal. (Agencies)
