Local MLA launches ambulance for WJH PHC

JOWAI:  Local MLA, Jowai, Wailadmiki Shylla, on Saturday launched an ambulance, sanctioned through Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, for Khliehtyrshi PHC in West Jaintia Hills.
Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, he said, “I met him only once to request him and he listened to the need of the PHC and the people of the area”.
Shylla also informed that the 4-km-long approach road has been sanctioned and a tender has been invited.
A short meeting was also held during the launch event which was attended by Medical Officer, Dr. S Dkhar, staffof the PHC, MDCs including local MDC, Lakhon Dkhar, among others.
