SHILLONG: With the reopening of places of worship in the offing, Opposition Congress MLA, David Nongrum, has asked different religious denominations to go ahead and reopen them by sticking to SOPs that suit them best.
“I know that the churches can make their own arrangements by ensuring that protocols are strictly followed. They can decide on their protocols as per the space and on the basis of the number of faithful who will be attending services,” the Congress MLA from Mawryngkneng said.
He said that the other religious groups can make similar arrangements as per their needs.
