GOC 101 Area visits Meghalaya Governor

GUWAHATI: Lt Gen Tumul Varma, GOC 101 Area on Tuesday visited Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Meghalaya, at the Raj Bhavan.
The GOC briefed the new Governor on the role and responsibilities of 101 Area. They discussed relevant issues including prevailing security situation in the State.
The GOC assured the Governor of continued civil military coordination and co-operation. The Governor conveyed his best wishes to Indian Army and 101 Area.
