Nigerians booked over illegal entry

SHILLONG: West Jaintia Hills Police on Monday detained three Nigerians suspected to have entered into the state from neighbouring Bangladesh.
In a statement on Tuesday, the police said a vehicle, accommodating the trio, was intercepted at Thlumiwi under Amlarem Sub-Division.
In this connection, the interrogation of the trio along with the locals, who are suspected for facilitating the entry, is under way.
