SHILLONG: The State Government has sanctioned Rs 74 crore for strengthening the health care system in the state.
Revealing this, Health Minister, AL Hek said that he held a video conference with all the District Medical and Health officers.
The government also formed a state-level committee to prioritize health centres which needs to be upgraded with Deputy Commissioners as the chairperson.
He added that the government is initially looking to upgrade those CHCs and PHCs with existing infrastructure.
