SHILLONG: Governor Satya Pal Malik, who recently succeeded Tathagatha Roy as the state’s governor, on Thursday paid visit to Ramakrishna Mission, Laitumkhrah, and Cathedral Church, Laitumkhrah.
During his visit to Ramakrishna Mission, Laitumkhrah, the governor held interaction with Secretary, RKM, Laitumkhrah, and paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
Malik also held talks on the social service and charitable activities that are organised from time to time by Ramakrishna Mission.
During visit to Cathedral Church, the governor held talks with Parish Priest, Fr. Pascal Lyngdoh, who briefed him about the church.
