Two coal-laden trucks detected

SHILLONG: Police on Thursday detected two coal-laden trucks in the city and detained three people including the two drivers of the truck.
East Khasi Hills SP, Sylvester Nongtnger, said that on Thursday evening, two coal-laden trucks (ML-04-A8507 and ML-O5V-0089) were detected by the police personnel of Mawlai PS from Banalari petrol pump, Mawong Rim area.
Two drivers, viz. Mostarly Marngar and Balaphrang Warjri, and the handyman, Komal Warjri, were detained after that.
A case has been registered pertaining to the matter.
