Meghalaya COVID update: 1570 active cases, 25 deaths

SHILLONG: With detection of 168 new COVID19 cases, recovery of 131 patients and death of one more patients, the number of active cases in Meghalaya now stands at 1570.

So far, total 2020 persons have recovered from COVID19 in Meghalaya while 25 persons have died of the virus infection till date in the state.

Out of the active case 994 are in East Khasi Hills, 14 in West Khasi Hills, five in South West Garo Hills, 13o I Ri Bhoi district, 13 in West Jaintia Hills, 146 in East Jaintia Hills, 211 in West Garo Hills, eight in South West Garo Hills, 20 in South Garo Hills, 17 in East Garo Hills and 12 in North Garo Hills.
