SHILLONG: Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh has condoled the death of former MLA Simon Siangshai. “I am deeply pained to learn about the sudden demise of Ma Simon Siangshai, former MLA. He will be remembered as an outstanding legislator and minister, besides for his dedication in the service to the welfare of the people of the state,” he said.
Metbah also offered condolences on behalf of the members of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
