Assam reports 19 more deaths due to COVID, toll up to 511

GUWAHATI: Nineteen more persons died of COVID19 in Assam today taking the death toll up to 511 even as 2394 new cases were detected in the state during the last 24 hours out of the 32478 tests conducted with a positivity rate of 7.37 %.

Meanwhile, 2496 patients were discharged from various COVID care centres and hospitals in the state today while Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that 80 per cent COVID 19 patients have recovered in the state so far.
