Forgery
Mothi T Sangma of Chokpotgre village, South Garo Hills, lodged a complaint that Israel S Sangma and others had complained against his fair price shop dealership at Jatragre village. However, it was later found that most of the signatures of other complainants were found to be forged wherein genuine beneficiaries did not even know of the fact.

Theft
Pashang Sherpa of Nongmynsong, Shillong lodged a complaint that on September 14, around 4 pm, miscreants picked his pocket. The complainant lost his wallet with Rs 2,000, BSF ID Card, Aadhaar card, EPIC, SBI ATM, driving licence, etc., at Umsohsun, Shillong.
