NONGSTOIN: The BDO, Mawthadraishan Block, WB Marbaniang on Wednesday launched the Livelihood & Enterprise Development Programme (LEDP) at Mawroh village under Mawthadraishan Block as boost to cultivation of mushroom and strawberry through involvement of SHGs.
The LEDP is the project funded by National Bank For Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD), West Khasi Hills. and implemented by Project implementing Agency (PIA) DAWN.
The project in the long run will help the villages to grow economically and be a role model for other villages.
