TURA: South Garo Hills Police has arrested a drug peddler dealing in Yaba tablets, which, of late, are being smuggled into the region from neighbouring Bangladesh.
Police caught a villager from remote Dilsinggre village under Rongara police station on Wednesday and seized 1,701 Yaba tablets from his possession.
Three days ago, two local drug peddlers, with a similar amount of the same substance, were caught inside Baghmara town while they were waiting to sell their consignment.
