WILLIAMNAGAR: Williamnagar MLA and the Chairman of District Planning and Development Council (DPDC), East Garo Hills, Marcuise N Marak, presided over the meeting convened by the District Planning office to approve the Draft Annual Plan of Development departments for the year 2020-21 at Williamnagar Circuit House on Friday. Also present include Rongjeng MLA, Jim M Sangma.
In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner of the district, Swapnil Tembe, based on the PowerPoint presentations of various developmental departments, highlighted the Key Performance Index (KPI) for East Garo Hills Vision 2025.
While highlighting the problems of the district, the deputy commissioner also apprised the chairman of the DPDC the need for waste disposal facility for the meat and fish markets in and around Williamnagar.
