PDS quota
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply) of South West Garo Hills has informed that PDS rice under NFSA, 2013 and PMGKAY free of cost rice/chana scheme has been released for September. For beneficiaries with AAY card the scale of distribution is 35 kg per card per month at the rate of Rs 3 per kg; PHH cardholders – 5 kg per head per month at Rs 3 per kg and non-NFSA cardholders – 7.05 kg per card at Rs 10 to 13 per kg. Further, under PMGKAY scheme, rice for AAY beneficiaries is scaled at 5 kg per head per month, PHH at 5 kg per head per month and chana for AAY/PHH at 1 kg per card per month, to be distributed free of cost.
