BSF celebrates anniv of ‘Fit India Movement’

SHILLONG: Marking the one-year anniversary of ‘Fit India Movement’, the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya on Saturday organised a ‘Fit India Movement’ run.
The 5-km run, which was flagged off from Umpling Campus, saw a fervent participation from 200 BSF personnel and their families.
Highlighting the importance of physical fitness, especially amid the trying times brought about by COVID-19, DIG PRO, UK Nayal, said, “BSF Meghalaya organised this run to raise the awareness of fitness and commemorate the central government’s inspiring ‘Fit India Movement’, which is envisioned by PM as people’s movement.”
