SHILLONG: The Global Indian Social Welfare Forum on Sunday wrote a letter to the Shillong Municipal Board complaining about the sanitation problems in Assam Bazaar, Happy Valley which is becoming worst every day.
The forum has also questioned the Shillong Municipal Board whether the area falls under the municipal board or the Dorbar Shnong? The forum in a statement issued here also informed that there were no Safai Karamcharis present for cleaning and sweeping Bishnupur area for the last 30 days.
