City school inaugurated

SHILLONG: South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed Madan Laban Nepali Secondary School building, constructed under the ‘Supporting Human Capital Development Project’ supported by Asian Development Bank.
Earlier, Shullai had informed that the project will address the problems faced by the student community, especially the ones who belong to the underprivileged section of the society not only from the South Shillong Constituency but from the state in general.
The school has been built at a sanctioned amount of Rs 1.60 crore, which was initiated and recommended by Shullai. it has been fully equipped with digital classrooms including computer sets, digital science laboratory, library room and retrofitted desks and chairs.
