Webminar to promote Hindi

SHILLONG: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Meghalaya under the Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of India conducted a one-day Hindi webminar on Saturday.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme was conducted online, the organisers said in a statement.
The main aim of the event is to create awareness on promotion of Hindi in the region – its scope and objectives and special emphasis on Rajbhasha as overcoming the challenge upon bonding of multi-lingual languages of our country.
Eminent hindi scholars from in and outisde the state joined the event through Google Meet App as resource persons.
