GSU seeks CM’s action on issues in Bajengdoba

TURA: The Garo Students’ Union (GSU) from Mendal in North Garo Hills met Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and submitted a memorandum on various issues plaguing the region.
In the memorandum, the union demanded the repair or construction of various roads in the area. These include the Jangrapara PWD road from Bajengdoba to Bekbekgre, extension of black topping of Bajengdoba-Jangrapara PWD road from Bekbekgre to Jangrapara, upgrade of all timber bridges under Bajengdoba Constituency to RCC, upgrade of Rari Primary Health Centre (PHC) from six beds to ten and the setting up of new PHC at Achotchonggre area in view of the village being located in an interior area far from Bajengdoba.
The union also sought the restart of work on PMGSY roads under Bajengdoba Constituency from Gokolgre to Achotchonggre, Chisim Akanang to Korepara, Akarok Songgital to Rongbalugre, Rari Bazaar to Dokigre and Snalgre to Jogogre.
