GUWAHATI: Nine more persons have died of COVID19 in Assam on Thursday taking the death toll due to virus up to 843 even as 769 new COVID19 cases were detected in the state out of 35040 tests performed during the day
The positivity rate was calculated to be 2.19 per cent. Kamrup Metropolitan district that includes Guwahati city reported maximum number of 202 cases today.
On the other hand, 1263 persons were released from various Covid Care hospitals in the state after their recovery from the disease.
