Tourist spot at Mawryngkhang not to reopen

SHILLONG: The Tourism Promotion Trekking Society, Wahkhen, has decided to not reopen the tourist spot at Mawryngkhang, which the Society claims to be the King of Stones.
It may be mentioned that the state government has announced the reopening of tourist spots from October 16 with adherence to health protocol.
In a statement issued here Secretary of Tourism Promotion Trekking Society, Wahkhen, Dmuising Khongjirem, informed that the society has undertaken certain repair works on the tourist spots and urged the public to bear with them.
