SHILLONG: In a rare achievement, Shillong Law College was adjudged as one of the top 24 teams in the National Moot Court Competition organised by the National Law University, Delhi, in collaboration with UGC and the Ministry of Education.
There were altogether 115 teams from across India that participated in the moot court competition with the theme, ‘Kartavya’ (Duty). The moot court competition was to observe the 70th Constitution Day.
“It was a well-reasoned exercise where upcoming legal minds from the best institutes of the country put forward their arguments on what constitutional duties imply. It was a moment of great rejoicing for Shillong Law College to be judged as one among the top 24 teams across the country,” the participants from the College said.
