SHILLONG: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Guwahati, observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2020 which was attended by the POWERGRID employees from Shillong and Guwahati among other Northeastern states.
The weeklong observance was thematised on ‘Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat’. According to a statement, online quiz and essay writing competitions were organized among the employees during the week.
“Vendor’s meets for sensitizing integrity and quality of works for the contractors were also organised at Guwahati, Shillong and other sites of NER through virtual mode,” the statement said. The weeklong observance concluded with prize distribution among the winners of the competitions.
