Mawkyrwat, Nov 11: Police in South West Khasi Hills have arrested three persons reportedly involved in the assault of the Secretary Shnong of Nonglikata village under Ranikor Civil Sub-Division.
The trio — Noonson M Marak, Nengnong N Marak and one juvenile from Khongkhlak village – were arrested on Tuesday morning.
According to SWKH SP, Maxwell B Syiem, the juvenile has been remanded in judicial custody in Juvenile Home while the two others have been remanded in 14-day judicial custody.
