Arson threat
Pherby Syndai lodged a complaint that on November 5, around 9.30 pm, one Arwi Tariang stopped his vehicle (ML-04C-7302) driven by Lanangshngain Pohkynteng at Pdengshakap, Umlamet in West Jaintia Hills, asked the driver to call the complainant, and during their conversation, the accused threatened to set ablaze the vehicle of the complainant.

Assault
S Pakem of Mooknor village in East Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on October 21, around 4 pm, one H Bareh assaulted her husband viz., Eber Pala. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Dr Norman Tunnel Hospital, Jowai. The accused also threatened the complainant.

Bikes missing
Wanseng J Sangma lodged a complaint that between 8 pm of November 18 and 1 pm of November 19, miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-05M-6818) from a parking place located behind Meghalaya Secretariat, Shillong.
Bilozar G Momin lodged a complaint that on November 19, around 8.30 am, he found that his friend’s motorcycle (ML-08F-6848) which was parked by him at Ampati Civil Hospital, Staff Quarters, was missing from the parking place.

Bass tube stolen
On November 20, Macterwell Marboh lodged a complaint that miscreant(s) stole Bass Tube from his vehicle (ML-04-4500), which was parked in his residence at Lower Rynjah, Shillong. Later, he learnt that the Bass Tube was stolen by one Francis Kharbithai (25), and subsequently informed the police.

Man injured
On November 20, Ajoi Rai (34) was taken to Bethany Hospital, Nongpoh, with a mark of air gun shot on his face. During inquiry, it transpired that while one Banjoplang Syiemlieh was shooting the air gun, the pellet hit the wall, ricocheted and hit Ajoi. Later, the injured person was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.

Thief caught red-handed
Danny Roy Thangkhiew lodged a complaint that on November 19, he caught red-handed one Shallwood Ranee while he was stealing clothes from his shop at D’Mar Complex, Police Bazar.

Break-in
Hunlang Dkhar lodged a complaint that on the night of November 18, miscreant(s) broke into his mobile repairing shop at Ummulong in West Jaintia Hills and stole six mobile phones (repaired as well as secondhand) valued around Rs 40,000.

Theft
Horlin Suting lodged a complaint that on November 18, around 1 am, miscreant(s) stole Rs 30,000 in cash and his driving license, while he was sleeping in his vehicle at Nongpoh.
Kusum Rai lodged a complaint that on November 18, around 8.30 pm, miscreant(s) stole her purse containing mobile phone, three ATM cards, Rs 2,000 in cash and some valuable documents, from her workplace at Travel Corner Restaurant, Jail Road.
