Condolence
The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has expressed shock and grief over the demise of veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel, who passed away on Wednesday in New Delhi, and also conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. The MPCC recalled Patel’s last visit to Shillong during the state election in February-March, 2018, when he helped the party in crucial issues.

Solidarity
The All India Postal and RMS Pensioners Association, Shillong, has extended support to the one-day strike slated for November 26 across the country against privatisation and anti-worker policies. In a statement, the association wished the strike to be a grand success.
