World AIDS Day
The Meghalaya AIDS Control Society will organise a state-level observation of World AIDS Day at U Soso Tham Auditorium, Shillong, on Tuesday from 2 pm onwards. The programme will be attended by president of Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, Sampath Kumar, as the chief guest.
Int’l Day of PwDs
The office of the District Social Welfare Officer, East Khasi Hills, in collaboration with the office of the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority and the District Legal Services Authority, will observe the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3 at Orchid Restaurant-cum-Dhaba, Mawryngkneng Block, from 10 am onwards.
