Collection banned
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh has prohibited all forms of collection of money, donations including contributions by any groups or individuals in the district.
Curfew extended
The West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner has extended night curfew in the district till December 8. The curfew will be imposed between 10 pm and 5 am every day.
Office-bearers
The Pinggira Cultural Society has elected its new office-bearers. The body has elected Tengbasal R Marak as president, Vincent D Sangma as vice president, Marjin T Sangma as general secretary, among others.
