Aadhaar
The East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed that an Aadhaar enrolment drive for NFSA beneficiaries (PHH and AAY card holders) will be conducted at Community Hall, Dymmiew, Mawprem, Shillong. According to a statement, the enrolment drive will be conducted from December 3 till December 11 between 10 am and 5 pm. Meanwhile, the fair price shop dealers under the aforesaid area have been directed to assist their respective beneficiaries for Aadhaar enrolment.

Event
Grassroot, a state-based NGO, will hold ‘Fundraising for Change’ event on Friday at Pasteur parking lot, near Ganesh Das hospital. According to a statement, the event will be organised in a bid to enable young entrepreneurs in establishing sustainable enterprises. “The fundraiser will include ‘all-indigenous’ food and expo brought by our trainees of ‘Skills to Succeed’ from East Jaintia Hills and other local entrepreneurs from Shillong,” the statement said.

Registration
The Registrar of Societies, Meghalaya, has informed all NGOs registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860 and Meghalaya Societies Registration Act, 1983, who are availing grants from the state government, to mandatorily register themselves with NITI Darpan Portal (ngodarpan.gov.in) and obtain unique identity within four weeks.

Date extension
East Garo Hills Deputy Director (Supply) has informed that the last date for claims and objections process for NFSA beneficiaries has been extended till December 22. They have been asked to download and submit forms along with the necessary documents on or before the date.

Natl Lok Adalat
The Secretary, DLSA, West Garo Hills, has informed that the National Lok Adalat will be held on December 5 at 10 am in the Conference Hall of the District & Session Judge’s Court.
