Theft
Vijay Singh Rajput, Manager, M/s JB Setha & Co., Paltan Bazar, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on December 14 around 8.45 pm, unknown miscreants in a local taxi (ML-05E-6715) stole a bag containing Rs 6 lakh belonging to JB Setiya from their private vehicle (ML-05U-9578), which was parked on the roadside at Paltan Bazar, Shillong.
Kyrhai Wahlang lodged a complaint that on December 14 morning, two persons, viz. FJ Lyngdoh and B Makri stole DG cable rolls from Airtel Tower Store Room at Lumthohrih Pahamsyiem, Ri Bhoi.
On the intervening night of December 14 and 15, unknown miscreants stole two rear tyres from one vehicle (ML-05S-1552) belonging to Aunggat Shah, which was parked at Lower Jail Road, Shillong.
On December 14 evening, unknown miscreants broke into the residence of Newton John Thabah at Nongrah Nonglum, and stole two finger rings, one pair of earrings and Rs 10,000 in cash.

Cattle seized
On December 15 around 1 am, acting on inputs, police detected two vehicles without curfew pass (ML-05K-0302 and ML-05F-4015), the former being driven by one Jopsing Sohtun (23) and the latter by Ister Sunn (31). The occupants were Shemborlang (20) and Iahunlang Rynjah (26). The two vehicles were found carrying nine and eleven heads of cattle respectively.
Phone snatched
On December 15, two unidentified boys, suspected to be junkies, snatched a mobile phone from another boy at Keating Road, Shillong.

Missing
On December 15 afternoon, Pynhunlang Syiemlieh, verbally reported that his scooty (ML-05M-6984), which was parked near Ramakrishna School, Umsohsun, Shillong was found missing.

Assault
Banikanta Bhattacharya lodged a complaint that on December 13 around 8.30 pm, one Ankit Saraf went to his residence along with two unidentified persons wearing masks and verbally abused him. The accused person also threatened him with dire consequences.

Killing bid
Inspector Rakesh Kumar Das, Officiating Company Commander, E-coy 123 Bn BSF of BOP Nongjri, lodged a complaint that on December 12 around 5.45 am, unknown miscreants fired one round from a pistol at BSF patrol party of Tuka BOP under Nongjri BOP, EKH, with intention to kill the security personnel, and fled away towards Bangladesh.
