Man gets life term for murder in WKH

NONGSTOIN, Dec 17: The District and Sessions Court of West Khasi Hills has convicted one Thomborlin Marwein accused of murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment and levied a fine of Rs 60,000.
Marwein reportedly accused of murdering a person whose body was found in the forest of Siangra village by the villagers.
West Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police, HG Lyngdoh, informed that the incident happened in 2011 and was reported to Nongstoin Police Station and a case registered subsequently.
The Police then arrested the accused, Thomborlin Marwein, after a thorough investigation.
