Articles donated to underserved

SHILLONG, Dec 29: Articles were donated to eight underprivileged families by Shlem Jingiarap ia kiba duk u Rupang at Mawkhar Christian Higher Secondary School here on Tuesday.
The group donated cups, blankets, utensils etc, during the gathering in which the chief guest was Syiem of Hima Mylliem, Paiem Ainam Manik Syiem.
One of the beneficiaries was a person from Musniang, East Jaintia Hills, who had lost his right leg and lives with three children in a dwelling built with tarpaulin.
The beneficiary from Musniang said that the donations has been of immense help to not only his family but others who are struggling to make ends meet and do not have the basic necessary materials.
