TURA, Dec 30: The BSF had recently distributed generic medicines among locals in Baghmara, South Garo Hills, during a civic action programme.
The programme, which was organised under the supervision of 42 Bn BSF Commandant, Ratikant Thakur, was attended by DC Mary T Sangma and SP Prianshu Pandey.
During the free medical camp, a total of 95 female and 60 male patients were examined.
The border students, who had undergone pre-recruitment training, were also handed study materials and other software and hardware support items as well as a certificate of participation.
A friendly volleyball match between the BSF and Captain Williamson Government College was also organised on the day.
