SHILLONG, Jan 8: The Hynniewtrep Youth Council has warned of intensifying agitation for the implementation of Inner-Line Permit (ILP) and against the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
In a statement issued here, the HYC central body said it will work in tandem with other organisations under the banner of CoMSO.
The HYC has further said that it will pressurise the government to iron out the elusive border disputes and the Them Metor conflict.
It has also resolved that it will continue to push for the incorporation of Khasi language in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
