Curfew in EKH
The District Magistrate of East Khasi Hills, in an order on Sunday, extended night curfew in the district from January 11 till January 17 only for timings falling between 11 pm and 5 am daily.
Condolence
Members of Matri Mandir, Polo Ground, Shillong, have condoled the demise of one of their members, Nikhil Ranjan Deb, who passed away on January 7. Remembering the contribution of Deb, the Matri Mandir members observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul, during a meeting Sunday.
