BCCI undecided on Ranji or Hazare
New Delhi, Jan 17: TThe fate of India’s premier domestic event, Ranji Trophy, remained undecided but the BCCI Apex Council on Sunday gave its approval to begin women’s cricket season in the country from March.India’s domestic season, which was delayed for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, finally took off earlier this month with the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. Gurpreet wins 25m rapid fire pistol
New Delhi, Jan 17: Army marksman and Olympian Gurpreet Singh won the men’s 25m rapid fire pistol T1 trials at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting range here on Sunday. It was a Services 1-2-3 as Gurpreet’s fellow Army man Neeraj Kumar and the Air Force’s Shivam Shukla emerged second and third in the finals. (PTI)

Messi doubtful for Super Cup final
BARCELONA, Jan 17: : Lionel Messi is doubtful for the final of the Spanish Super Cup, when his Barcelona will face Athletic Bilbao. HI to organise coaching course
New Delhi, Jan 17: Hockey India (HI) on Sunday announced that they will conduct the HI coaching education pathway-level ‘1’ coaching course 2021 in New Delhi from January 29 to February 1 and Bhubaneswar from February 3 to 6 and interested applicants can enrol online. Each of the candidates undertaking the course has to submit a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test report with the test taken within 72 hours of arrival at the venue of the course. (UNI)
