SHILLONG, Jan 19: Police have vowed action against a person who, in a video that has gone viral on social media, is seen assaulting a young girl at Shillong Golf Course.
A boy is seen kicking and slapping a girl reportedly at Shillong Golf Course in the 24-second viral clip.
The authenticity of the video and has, during the filing of this report, not been verified by The Shillong Times.
When contacted, a police official maintained that the video must be old.
“However, we will identify the culprit and take action against him,” a police official said when the video was shared with the department.
