Umran Police Training School gets MHA award

SHILLONG, Jan 21: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has awarded the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for Best Non-Gazetted Training Institute in the North East Zone to Police Training School, Umran, Meghalaya.
According to a statement, 18 institutes across the country were conferred with the award in different categories which also include grant-in-aid as sanctioned by the Government of India and a Home Minister’s Disc for those institutes winning at the national-level.
