SHILLONG, Jan 25: Wolves beat Veteran United by 22 runs in the first match of the 8th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis ball cricket tournament on Monday. Veteran United won the toss and elected to bowl. Wolves scored 62 runs in 6 overs, while Veteran United scored 41 runs in 5.1 overs. In the second match, Harisabha United won the toss and elected to field first against Sales XI. Sales XI scored 64 scored runs in 6 overs. In reply, Harisabha United scored 54 runs in 6 overs. The Sales XI won by 11 runs.
